At the Mill Cove Environmental Area
The second annual Earth Day at Mill Cove (EDMC) is being organized by Mill Cove, Inc. and Mansfield University. This is a family event with activities and demonstrations for all ages that are fun, exciting, and educational. EDMC is a community service and is free to the public. On site parking is available, but shuttle buses will also be transporting participants from Mansfield University's east parking lot.
Various educational demonstrations will be held.There will also be an array of vendors that will be showcasing their knowledge and skills on all things related to our environment. In addition to the demonstrations, numerous activities that involve hands on fun and enjoyment 
will take place throughout the day, including nature hikes, fishing derby, archery, livestock demos,canoeing,dog training, fly tying, game tracking, and natural art to name a few. Fishing rods, canoes, kayaks, archery equipment, and safety gear will be provided. Just bring hiking shoes, some rain gear, and your enthusiasm.
For Vendors:
There is no fee associated with becoming an EDMC vendor. Tables and chairs will be provided upon request. These items are in limited supply, however, so vendors are encouraged to register early for the event. For more information, contact Jean at (570) 549-8028 or e-mail kota@npacc.net
